Arisugawa Dice & Busujima Mason Rio
Busujima Mason Rio/Jinguji Jakurai
Busujima Mason Rio & Kannabi Yotsutsuji
Jinguji Jakurai &/ Kannabi Yotsutsuji
If it wasn't obvious from the ships, Rio and Jakurai are my two favorite Hypnosis Mic characters. I'm especially interested in their experiences in the war and how that's shaped who they are now. I'm equally happy with works set in the past while they were in the military and works set in the present. For Rio and Dice, I love Dice's love of Rio's cooking and how Rio is willing to let his guard down around Dice in a way he doesn't around most others.
Arisugawa Dice & Busujima Mason Rio
I love that Dice seems to be just about the only person who isn't bothered by the look of Rio's cooking. I also love how Rio seems to have accepted this stray who keeps showing up at his camp and is able to let his guard down around Dice in ways he doesn't usually. I'd love to see something more slice-of-life with these two involving Rio's cooking or just them hanging around Rio's camp. If you want something with more action, I'd love one of them rescuing the other from a sticky situation.
Busujima Mason Rio/Jinguji Jakurai
Jinguji Jakurai &/Kannabi Yotsutsuji
I've combined these ships into one section since my interests for them overlap. For all of them, I'm most interested in their experiences with the military/war and how its shaped their lives going forward. I'm equally happy with pieces set in the past while the war was happening and pieces set in the current canon present. If you want to write canon divergence where Yotsutsuji doesn't end up in a coma, that's fine by me. Same for if you want to write Rio crossing paths with Jakurai and/or Yotsutsuji during the war.
Haruno Sakura & Hyuuga Neji & Nara Shikamaru
Haruno Sakura&/Yamanaka Ino
Haruno Sakura/Temari
Temari/Tenten
Nara Shikamaru & Temari
Morino Ibiki &/ Uchiha Itachi
Sai & Uchiha Itachi
In general in Naruto, I love mission fic, fic exploring the downtime/worldbuilding between missions, and fic that addresses some of the darker parts of the world that canon seems to gloss over (like the repercussions of a world where warfare in various forms is constant and child warfare is the norm). Feel free to take as much or as little plot from canon as you want; I've followed canon up through end of the original Naruto series, but I'm more interested in the characters and the world than in the specific plot.
For the femslash ships, I'd love to see the characters finding time to relax, pushing each other to train harder, and generally supporting each other rather than rivalries/jealousy. For the ANBU and ANBU-adjacent characters (Sai, Itachi, and Ibiki), I'm interested in how spending so much time in a group with very different norms/culture shaped them, especially for Sai and Itachi who were brought into it as fairly young children.
Haruno Sakura & Hyuuga Neji & Nara Shikamaru
I love competence in all forms, and these are three characters who grew up to be exceptionally competent, both in their physical strength/jutsu and especially in their ability to quickly analyze a situation and develop and execute a plan. I'd love to see the three of them working together on a particularly difficult mission, either actually in the field, or as the ones gathering information/coordinating behind-the-scenes. Alternately, maybe Neji or Shikamaru are injured/poisoned/etc, and Sakura needs to figure out how to heal them.
Haruno Sakura&/Yamanaka Ino
I love the friendship/friendly rivalry that these two develop later in canon, and how they push each other to become stronger. I'd love something that explores Sakura training Ino as a medic, or how they work together as medic and intelligence officer. I also like thinking about what they do during their downtime between missions (or in quiet moments they steal for themselves during long missions).
Haruno Sakura/Temari
Sakura is known for her healing skills/knowledge of poisons in Suna as well as in Konoha. What's it like when she goes to visit and Temari takes her for a stroll around the village? What about when Temari comes to Konoha for various diplomatic reasons? How do they both manage the somewhat hotheaded/challenging kage in their lives (and how do they blow off steam after particularly frustrating days)?
Temari/Tenten
Again something of a crack ship, but another one I've come to love. Two kunoichi who specialize in weapons, but in very different ways. Do they ever train together, and what's that like? What about comparing notes about caring for weapons? Off of the training field, how do they relax?
Nara Shikamaru & Temari
The Shikamaru vs Temari match is one of my favorites from the chuunin exams, but I also love the future when they have roles in education/testing for their respective villages. What happens when they meet to discuss curriculum? How much time do they spend grumbling about paperwork and bureaucracy (how often does Shikamaru's hatred of busywork give Temari headaches)? If they get ambushed while traveling, what sort of strategies do they use?
Morino Ibiki&/Uchiha Itachi
This is something of a crack ship, but it's also turned into one of my Naruto OTPs. Sticking entirely to canon events, I wonder how much Ibiki knew about the Uchiha Massacre. Also, was he ever involved in training new ANBU recruits? If you want to go a canon divergence route, then I like premises where Itachi either never left Konoha, or didn't die and returned after the war. Given how much Ibiki has seen, and how much he deals in secrets, I also like the idea of him as someone Itachi seeks out when he's struggling with the aftermath of an ANBU assignment.
Sai & Uchiha Itachi
Similar to Ibiki & Itachi, this ship requires a bit of canon divergence, or at least creative thinking. Given how early Sai was recruited into ROOT, I wonder if he ever crossed path with Itachi during Itachi's time in ANBU. If you want to go with canon divergence, then what if Itachi never left, or if he survived and returned after the war and he and Sai both need to figure out how to adapt to life outside of ANBU/ROOT.

Jack Howl & Vil Schoenheit
I love Octavinelle and Pomefiore! Ever since I read the card story of Vil going to Azul to restock his beauty care supplies, I've loved the dynamics between the two dorms. I also love how extra both dorm heads and their vice-dorm heads are, and how protective the vice-heads are of their respective heads. I also love Rook's desire to hunt prey, especially when that prey is a mer-eel. For Vil and Jack, I like the idea of Jack being one of the few people who doesn't expect too much from Vil and their morning runs being an enjoyable casual time for them both. For the two ships with Crewel, I enjoy the idea of Crewel training Vil and Riddle on propriety, fashion, and how to carry themselves with poise and authority. I've been playing both the Japanese and English versions of the game since launch and am caught up on all of the events, but not on the Ignihyde/Disamonia chapters of the main story.
Azul Ashengrotto/Floyd Leech/Jade Leech
Azul Ashengrotto/Jade Leech
I love the Octavinelle trio in general and would be happy with any combination of the three of them you want to write. Azul works very hard to always be in control, and the eels can either help or undermine the situation. What happens when the eels turn the tables on him? What about when Azul needs a sensitive task handled and can't trust anyone else with it? What about when Floyd decides to cause problems on purpose? If you enjoy AUs, these characters seem to lend themselves well to mafia AUs and similar.
Divus Crewel&/Riddle Rosehearts
Divus Crewel & Vil Schoenheit
Crewel seems to be NRC's resident fashion and comportment expert, so it makes sense that he'd cross paths with these two. Are they helping him wrangle a bunch of clueless NRC students into shape, or are they getting extra lessons on more advanced topics? For Riddle, did he already know how to strut commandingly in heels when he arrived at NRC, or did he need special tutoring in that? For Vil, I love all of the times we see the two of them working together to get everyone into fashion show/formal ball-ready shape. What is their relationship like when it comes to sharing fashion/makeup trends and design ideas? Do they ever disagree about what looks best? If you want to take this a slightly darker or NSFW direction, I'd also be happy with anything going in the direction of Crewel's frequent references to dog training and threats of discipline (including mild NSFW), especially for Riddle.
Divus Crewel/Mozus Trein
Trein has grown on me a lot recently, especially after we saw more of him in the recent Masquerade event. I'd love to see what happens when Crewel is tasked with catsitting for Trein. Alternatively, how does Trein handle one of his old students coming back as a faculty member? How does Trein's more traditional/conservative personality mesh with *waves hands at everything that Crewel is*?
Floyd Leech/Rook Hunt
Jade Leech/Rook Hunt
A set of characters who are incredibly protective of their respective dorm heads. What happens if they feel someone from the other's dorm is threatening their own dorm head? What if they team up against an outside threat? Since Rook loves hunting, what if he decided he wants to have some fun hunting a mer-eel (or needs to refill Vil's special mer-eel slime face serum)?
Rook Hunt/Vil Schoenheit
Rook wants to make sure that Vil's every need is met. Does Vil appreciate that, or does he find it annoying/overbearing? Rook is used to being the hunter/observer, so what's it like for him knowing that Vil is taking notes on everything he does? What does a workout/sparring session between them look like?
Jack Howl & Vil Schoenheit
Jack isn't awed by Fashion Model Vil and doesn't have incredibly high expectations for him, which has to be something of a relief to Vil given the pressure he's under everywhere else in his life. I love their morning runs together as a chance for Vil to enjoy some casual conversation or (companionable silence). Has Jack ever invited Vil to go skiing/snowboarding with him? Has Vil ever tried teaching Jack kickboxing? What happens when another incident happens at NRC and they have to work together to fix/defeat it?

Reference Librarian/Her Badass Adventurer Girlfriend
Female Vampire/Female Librarian
Female Adventurer in Need of a Challenge/Lady Stuck in Tower of Ridiculous Traps
Princess who likes to sneak out/Female captain of the guard who always catches her
For the library ships, I love libraries in all forms! These pairings could range anywhere from the mundane moments between two people who see each other regularly to complex adventures and mind games. The sky's the limit when books are involved. My background is in academia/academic libraries, so feel free to go as far into the weeds as you want with specialized knowledge if you have it.
For the veterinarian ships, I'm interested in weird/unexpected biology (from the perspective of the vet) and the challenges/differences/interests that presents. For all of the prompts involving medical professionals/healers, I'm also interested in the trust that exists between healer and patient, even if they've only just met, or the initial wariness that needs to be overcome.
Human Injured on Alien Planet/Alien Veterinarian
Has the alien ever seen humans before, or is this their first time? What about the human? How different are humans from what the alien's usual patients? If you want to go a potentially darker route, does the alien recognize the human's sentience/intelligence or not? For this ship, I'd prefer any gender combination other than female human/male alien (trans/nonbinary/intersex/etc human and weird alien genders welcome).
Mundane Veterinarian/Employee of Magical Wildlife Rescue (F/F)
Did these two meet through work, or do they both buy their coffee from the same coffee shop every morning (or did one find the other when she was looking for a roommate)? Why is someone from the magical wildlife rescue bringing magical animals to a mundane veterinarian? Does the vet know the animals are magical? Does the vet believe in magic?
Brave but Unlucky Female Adventurer/Female Healer Who Patches Her Up
I love how many different possibilities there are for this prompt. Maybe our intrepid adventurer always makes it back home from her adventures victorious but injured, and after enough visits to the healer at her home base, they realize there's something more to their relationship. Or maybe the healer was her girlfriend first, and she learned to be a healer out of necessity due to her dear adventurer's terrible luck. Alternately, the adventurer is injured out in the middle of nowhere, and the healer is a random stranger who happens across her. Is the adventurer's bad luck the standard "but it turns out I'd miscounted, and a third evil knight snuck up behind me," or is it "and then I was concussed by a falling rabbit?" types of absurdity? Is her bad luck just coincidence, or is there an actual curse at play?
Male Superhero Who Works in a Coffee Shop/Tired Male Supervillain Customer
I love the idea of the superhero/supervillain being enemies/rivals in their superpowered alter egos, but in their everyday lives they're an overworked/underpaid coffee shop employee and an equally tired customer. Do they know the other one is their biggest rival/headache, or do they both think the other is just an ordinary mundane person? How do they react when the TV/radio in the coffee shop starts recapping their battle from the night before? Is this a one time meeting, or is it a regular enough habit that they worry if the other isn't at the coffee shop at their regular time?
Immortal Librarian/Overworked Corporate Admin (F/F)
I love the idea of a frazzled admin who keeps being sent out to find answers to absurdly arcane/specific questions/technical documentation/legalese and a librarian who's had hundreds or thousands of years to learn all sorts of obscure trivia. Has the librarian been working at the library the whole time, or is she a new face filling in for the admin's usual favorite librarian who's away?
Librarian Cataloging Book in Dead Language/Crotchety Linguist Who Knows Said Language (F/F)
I love to characters who are begrudgingly forced to work together. What happens when the only person in a thousand mile radius who can read the book is also notoriously crochety? Is the linguist as difficult as the rumors say, or does it turn out she's actually not so bad once the librarian gets to know her? I'm a librarian in academia, so feel free to go as deep into library/academia jargon and politics as you want if that's your thing.
Reference Librarian/Her Badass Adventurer Girlfriend (F/F)
This just sounded like a fun prompt. Does the librarian ever get to join in on the adventures, or does she always stay safely behind the desk? What sorts of information do adventurers need from the library? Unusual settings are very welcome for this prompt. Library in space? Cool. World with magical books? Also cool. The librarian happens to be a dragon? Awesome.
Female Vampire/Female Librarian
Does the librarian recognize a vampire when she sees one, or is she oblivious? Maybe the librarian is an earnest new hire who's excited to meet the patrons at her new library, or maybe she's been around for decades and notices something seems off. Similarly, for the vampire, maybe she's a new arrival in the town, or maybe she's been coming to the library for as long as anyone can remember. Are vampires the only supernatural creatures around, or is there a whole menagerie of supernatural creatures who use this library? Are we sure the librarian is human, or is she secretly (or not so secretly) a vampire as well? Whatever direction you take this in, for this exchange I'd prefer more of a slice-of-life/meet-cute tone than dark vampire noncon/horror.
Female Adventurer in Need of a Challenge/Lady Stuck in Tower of Ridiculous Traps
Princess who likes to sneak out/Female captain of the guard who always catches her
I put these two prompts together because I'm interested in a similar dynamic for both where the chase/adventure becomes a form of flirting. Maybe the lady could escape from the tower herself (or she's the one setting some of the traps), and maybe the princess could sneak out without being noticed, but half the fun is in turning it into more of a game. Both of these prompts also feel like they'd lend themselves well to a twist on the standard medieval fantasy setting. If you want to make the princess and guard captain have their adventures on a space station/alien planet, or make the lady stuck in a sleek skyscraper filled with high-tech traps, or anything else of the sort, I'd be thrilled.
I hope you're as excited for this exchange as I am! Most of my requests come from anime-adjacent series, but I also love original works. I have receiving gifts enabled on AO3 and love receiving treats in any medium.
